Meditation can be included to build your inner peace and to gain for merit. On request, we can arrange timing for morning meditation in temples.

Itenerary

Day 1

Your flight to Bhutan would give you scary but joyous experience cause Paro International airport is considered as one of the dangerous airports in the world. But do not worry, we never had an accident. On Arrival at Paro airport, you will feel the difference....the freshness...clean air...different world..away from your wild wild crazy busy world...LOL. Our guide will welcome you at the exit gate of the building and drive to the capital - Thimphu. short stop on the way, can take a short walk to Tamchog Lhakhang, crossing 15 century iron chain bridge. After lunch, visit few places such as - Buddha Point, Memorial chorten, Zoo, Nunnery, and in evening Trashochhodzong. Overnight in Thimphu.

Day 2

Early morning drive to Changangkha Lhakhang, the 12 century temple, build on a hill top in Thimphu valley. The monks do praying at early morning, during which period you can sit for 2-3 hours ... praying and meditating. Later..continue doing sight seeing....visiting vegetable market...art school, craft market...and free time. Thimphu Halt.

Day 3

Same as day before, visit Changangkha Lhakhang and sit for meditation for few hours. Later proceed to Punakha via Dochula Pass at Alt 3130 m, from where you can have great Himalayan white peaks. After lunch on the way, make short walk to visit Chimi Lhakhang-the temple of fertility. Check in hotel in Punakha. In the evening, drive to Wolakha Nunnery, where can sit on request, during the nuns evening praying time..for an hour or little more. Overnight in Punakha.

Day 4

Early morning drive to northwest of Punakha valley and hike to Khamsum yulle Monatsery(45 mins hike through rice field) Sit for an hour or two ... meditating. Later visit Punakha Dzong, the old capital seat of Bhutan... and drive back to Paro. Paro halt.

Day 5

Early morning hike to Taktsang Monastery, one of the most sacred temples in Bhutan, to seek Guru;s blessing. Can sit for meditation...for few hours till 1 pm(they close for lunch break). Later walk down to taktsang cafeteria for Lunch and visit old Tample - Kichu Lhakhang, built in 7 century and Dungtse Lhakhang. Free time around Paro town. Paro Halt.

Day 6

Morning drop to Paro airport after breakfast for departure flight.(NB: can include few more days if you would prefer to have more meditating time. Accordingly, it would be organized).
