Itenerary

Day 1

Take a flight from DEL/BKK/KTM/SIN/CCU and fly to Bhutan and land at Paro airport. The first landing experiences would give your extraordinary feeling with Bhutan Himalayan mountainous views, typical Bhutanese architect houses, farm land and .... kind of scary landing..but do not worry, our pilots are well experienced. Your will feel the freshness of clean air and the natural beauty of Bhutan as soon as your step out of the craft. You will be welcomed by our guide at the exit of the airport building and take to to Paro Town, a very small town but you will enjoy its unique beautiness.. After lunch in town, you would be taken for few sightseeing - visit of National Museum, Paro Rinpung Dzong, walk down to the wooden cantilever footbridge, watch archery game and check in to Hotel(5 Star hotels). Hotel Zhiwaling/Aman Kora/Uma CoMO...

Day 2

After breakfast, drive to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan, an hour drive. Short photo stop at Tamchog Lhakhang, to take picture of 15 century old Iron chain bridge and of the old house and temple. Have day sightseeing - visit of Budha Point(206 feet, one of the tallest sitting statues), Memorial Chorten, Zoo-to heck in Hotel Taj Tashi/Aman Kora/Hotel DRUK.

Day 3

For a good easy walk and to enjoy the freshness of the pure nature, we take you for a short hike to Tango Buddhist University or Cheri Gumba(meditation centre), driving northwest of Thimphu city, 40 mins drive. From the car park lot, you need to do easy hike for about 45 mins, walking uphill through the pine and rhododendron forest. Can have a day pack lunch out or drive back to town for hot lunch. Later visit of vegetable market, art school, craft market and free time. Overnight in Thimphu.

Day 4

After early breakfast, proceed towards Punakha, the old capital seat of Bhutan, passing Dochula(Pass) at Alt 3130 m, which is marked with 108 stupas, victory chorten and good restaurant for tea/coffee stop. From the pass, if the weather remains clear, you can have great long range of Himalayan high peaks and beautiful valley down below of Punakha. Further drive to Punakha and after lunch, short walk to Chimi Lhakhnag-the temple of fertility, walking through a rice field and passing few farm houses, where you can see many handicrafts. Later check in Hotel Dhensa/Zhinkham/RKPO Green Resort/Aman Kora. Punakha halt.

Day 5

Another day hike to KhamsumYulle Monastery, easy hike for 45 mins uphill. You will enjoy the beauty of the valley below from the monastery's top floor. After the hike, you can experience easy rafting(on extra cost) for an hour from the park area till below the Punakha Dzong. Later after lunch visit Punakha Dzong, the old capital and one of the most beautiful Dzongs in Bhutan, built in 1637 in between two male and female rivers. Later visit Wolakha Nunnery, where you can see 3 different Buddhist temples, built in Bhutanese, Nepalese and Tibetan styles on a hill top, from where you again have spectacular view of Punakha/Wangdi valley below. If interested, on request, you can sit for an hour on meditation when the nuns have evening prayer. Overright in Punakha.

Day 6

Drive back to Paro via same way. Stop over in Thimphu city for lunch last shopping and few more sightseeing (paper factory, handicrafts, Trashichhodzong..etc) before leaving for Paro. Overnight at Paro.

Day 7

Today's hike to Taktsang Monastery(the famous Tiger's Nest Temple) is for 6 - 7 hours hike. After early breakfast, early start for the hike would be better. The temple is one of the most sacred temples in Bhutan, thou little harder hike, but for sure you will remember the peaceful moment over the top.....for many years. It is famous for having found by Guru Rinpoche, Great Indian saint in 8th Century to be a very spiritual site for meditation to gain super natural power, where he believed to have flown on a tigress back, subdued a local demon and meditated for few months. Later, visit old temple - Kichu Lhakhang built in 7th Century by Tibetan King. Overnight in Paro.

Day 8

After breakfast in hotel, drive to airport for departure.
